How do I book onto a class or workshop and purchase sessions?

You can book your classes, plans or sessions via the website. Go to the page of the service you wish to purchase and click the 'Buy now' or 'Book now' button on the relevant page.

Once you have paid you will then be prompted to complete the following forms:

  • Simple application form

  • Pre-screening Physical activity readiness form (PARQ)

  • Direct debit/standing order form (if signing up for a monthly membership)

How much do classes, group training and personal training sessions cost?

Bellydance, Barre, Yoga & Group Exercise classes cost £10 per class

Group Training costs £35 per person, per session

Coaching & Personal Training costs £70 per session

How do class/group training monthly membership payments work?

Once you initiate your membership subscription your first payment will be immediately debited from your account (unless a specific start date for the payment is specified on the class description and/or payment page). Once payment is received you can start attending classes immediately or on the start date specified.

The cost of your monthly membership takes into account the fact that there are 42 classes per year with 10 closure weeks (as listed below). The cost of the 42 classes has been spread out throughout the year so you will pay every month of the year. This means that payments will still be taken during the 10 closure weeks, to cover the cost of the 42 classes. Hence your membership will be continuous unless you cancel it.

Do you offer trial classes?
No. However you can cancel your class membership after one month if you decide that the classes are not for you.

What is the minimum age to attend classes?
To attend the classes you must be at least 18 years old.

Do you offer pay as you go classes or personal training sessions?

No. To help you best commit to your wellness and successful achievement of goals we only operate on monthly subscription basis for memberships or a one-off payment for courses. This will help you to commit to attending and better help you achieve your goals.

Am I tied into a contract for the monthly class membership?
No. We believe that you should be a member because you want to be. Hence you can cancel your monthly membership at any time.

When does the first payment come out of my bank account?
Direct debit membership payments will be collected from your bank account from the date that you initiate the membership or the date that the membership commences.

Why do your classes, courses and sessions cost more than other exercise classes?

Women into wellness offer a premium service wherein our specialist training allows us to provide holistic and/or specialist solutions to specific problems and maximise your potential for wellness. The prices of our services and products reflects the specialist knowledge, coaching and support that you will receive and the level of training that our instructors have to offer.

Do you offer a payment plan?

For some services you we offer the option to pay in full or in smaller installments, these options will be listed on the checkout pages.

I don't have a bank account, do you accept cash?
No, unfortunately we do not accept cash payments.

Occaisionaly discounts may be available at certain times of the year or during product launches. Any such discounts will be advertised online or communicated via our newsletter and Facebook page.

I cannot attend some of the face-to-face classes or group session dates, can I receive a discount?

What shall I wear?
The type of clothing you wear will depend on the class, any specific requirements will be detailed on the class page.

In general wear we advise that you wear comfortable clothing that will not restrict movement and will allow your skin to breathe.

Wear layers so that you can adjust your clothing depending on your temperature.

Form fitting clothing will better allow your instructor to see your body alignment and correct your technique. However you are welcome to wear loose fitting clothing if this is what you prefer.
Trainers should be cushioned and non-slip. However we do also encourage bare foot training for all of our classes.

Bellydance and Barre are all performed barefoot, to get the most out of the technique and workout. If you prefer, you can wear non-slip Pilates/yoga socks or barefoot trainers.

What shall I bring with me?
We suggest that you bring a drink of water and a small towel. All exercise equipment will be provided.

For yoga classes/workshops, you are welcome to bring your own mat, bolster/cushion, block and blanket which will be detailed in the class/workshop information.

If I arrive late can I join in part way through the class?
We advise all participants to arrive on time and take part in the warm-up to ensure safe preparation for exercise.
If you arrive more than 30 mins late for a class you may not be allowed to join in.

How many people are in the class?
Pre and postnatal fitness classes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Perimenopause fitness, Barre & Bellydance classes are usually limited to a maximum of 15-20 participants.

Class sizes ensure that participants can receive adequate coaching and that the instructor is able to interact with everyone.

How does the fitness professional instruct?

Group Training classes are delivered as circuit training wherein the instructor demonstrates the exercise stations and modifications, the group then participate in a warm-up together with the instructor and then the instructor moves around the stations coaching individuals at their stations, the participants and instructor then cool down and stretch together.

Barre & Bellydance classes are led by the instructor leading from the front of the class. The instructor will sometimes move throughout the class to coach on technique or provide close-up instruction.

What is the atmosphere of the class like?
We nurture a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere to all participants. We encourage participants to support each other in the attainment of personal goals and we discourage a competitive atmosphere. Our ethos is to empower, enthuse and support women by providing an opportunity to learn, develop and have fun together. Our aim is to ensure that your class or session is a positive experience  and that you leave feeling invigorated, happy and relaxed.

If I have any questions, concerns or topics for discussion how can I contact my instructor?

We welcome your interaction and part of our service is to provide online support to you outside of the class/session. When you purchase a service you will be asked to join a private Facebook group along with other class/course members. You are encouraged to post any general questions into this Facebook group (where they will usually be answered on a daily basis) so that other class/course participants can benefit from your enquiry and the answer provided.

If you prefer to communicate privately then you are welcome to send an email to maria@womenintowellness.com or via the contact page on the website.

If there is time before, during, or after a class then you are welcome to arrive early or linger afterwards to ask any questions.

If I have purchased a class, plan or sessions and can no longer continue can I get a partial or full refund?

We do not offer refunds. However you can transfer any unused classes, sessions or packages to another suitable person. All decisions to transfer are at the discretion of Women into wellness and any transfer client is subject to the usual screening requirements.

If I have completed a  6 or 12 week course or personal training programme and then want to continue with personal training, do I have to pay for another plan?

No, as you will have already received the specialised plan content and started your personal training sessions you can then switch over to a personal training session package.

If I arrive late can I still have my full personal training session?

Your personal training session has been booked into a limited time slot, if you arrive late you will sacrifice that part of your session and cannot redeem it. If you arrive more than 30 mins late then the instructor has the right to cancel the session and you will lose that session.

How much notice do I need to provide to cancel my personal training session?

Sessions need to be cancelled and rescheduled a minimum of 24hrs in advance, any less that this and the session will be forfeit.

Do my sessions have an expiry date?

Personal training sessions and wellness plan sessions need to be booked and used within 3 months of purchase otherwise they will expire.

I have a medical condition that may affect my ability to participate in your classes or programme. How do I know whether it is suitable and safe for me and my condition/situation?

When you book onto any service you will be asked to complete an extensive online screening health and physical activity readiness questionaire PAR Q.

We aim to provide a safe service for women and are deeply committed towards improving your health and wellness. Based on the information that you provide, if it is deemed that our service is not suitable for you then you will be informed, the reason explained and a full refund will be issued. We may also suggest a pathway for referral if we deem that you would be better served by another professional e,g, womens health physiotherapist, soft tissue therapist etc.

The advice that I have received from Women into Wellness differs to those of my midwife, health visitor, GP, physiotherapist, nutritionist or medical practitioner. Whose advice should I follow?

Women into Wellness specialise in providing advice and programming that we have the credentials to offer. We specialise in holistic wellness and have your best interests in mind. However, our advice is not a medical prescription and should not be considered as such. Therefore we always advise that you refer to the advice of your medical specialist first and foremost and consult with them if you are unsure of how to proceed.

If you are receiving any particular medical advice, then please disclose this during your screening or as soon as possible if it is issued thereafter, so that it can be considered in any bespoke programming.
